One of the best tracks in Turkey, combining the beautiful landscapes of northeastern Turkey and the oldest cultures with their historical sites and architectures in the
eastern part of the country.


Day 1: Trabzon

Arrival to Trabzon and a concise sightseeing city tour in Trabzon, including the Trabzon Museum, the Agia Sophia. Lunch will be taken in the bazaar district. And we will drive towards the Sumela Monastery, a beautifully ‘carved’ Orthodox monastery in the high hills of the Black Sea. Back to Trabzon at the end of the day. Overnight in Trabzon.

Day 2: Trabzon – Çamlıhemşin – Ayder – Yusufeli

Early morning drive to Çamlıhemşin which is 2,5 hrs from Trabzon. We will spend the whole day in the beautiful valleys of the Black Sea, trekking in the Kaçkar valleys, in Çamlıhemşin and Ayder valleys. At the end of the trekking day, we’ll enjoy hot spring waters in Ayder. Accomodation at Yusufeli.

Day 3: Yusufeli - Erzurum

After taking our local breakfast in the valleys of the Black Sea, we’ll drive to Erzurum (3 hrs), and dedicate our third day to the Islamic heritage of the region… After the three hours drive towards Erzurum, our city tour will take place, including the famous Çifte Minareli Medrese(Twin Minaret Seminary), Ulu Camii(Great Mosque), Üç Kümbetler(Three tombs), Yakutiye Medresesiand the Turkish-Islamic Art & Ethnography Museum. During the day we’ll have our lunch will include the famous regional speciality cag kebabi. We’ll end of the day with the view of Erzurum Citadel and then drive souther towards the city of Kars (3,5 hrs). Accomodation in Kars.

Day 4: Kars – Ani

We’ll have breakfast at our hotel in Kars and depart as early as possible for the magnificent Ruins of Ani, once the capital city of Armenia, a beautiful complex of Armenian churches and one of the most important medieval cities on the Silk Road. We will visit other Armenian churches as well around Ani, such as the Oğuzlu Church, the Red Church and the Bagnair Monastery. After spending our day among these ruins, we will come back to Kars late afternoon. We’ll be able to spend some free time in the ex-Russian city of Kars and meet for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Kars.

Day 5: Kars – Doğubeyazıt, Mt. Ararat – Van

Breakfast at our hotel. We’ll depart for the eastern point of Turkey, to admire the beautiful Mount Ararat on the way, towards the city of Doğubeyazıt and visit the Ishak Paşa Palace.We’ll take our lunch on the way to Muradiye Falls. Then we’ll drive towards the city of Van, following the shores of Van Lake, the biggest lake of Turkey. Arrive in the afternoon, free time and dinner. Accomodation at Van.

Day 6: Van, Ahtamar

The speciality of Van is its famous breakfast. After having a local-type breakfast / brunch, we’ll drive towards the Ahtamar Island and visit one of the wonders of Armenian architecture, the famous Ahtamar Church, dated back to the 10th century and renovated recently. After this very famous one, we’ll visit the Altınsaç Church, 12 km from Ahtamar, a not widely known Armenian church. We’ll take an early dinner in the shores of Van Lake. Late flight back to Istanbul, end of our services.
